​​​​​​​Club History

The first swim club in Ladysmith started in 1987 and expanded to include Duncan in 1988.  In 1992, Ladysmith and Duncan divided to create two clubs and the Ladysmith-Chemainus Orcas were born.  LCSC is part of the Vancouver Island region of Swim BC and a volunteer, parent-run organization independent of Ladysmith Parks and Recreation.
