LCSC Board of Directors is holding our Annual General Meeting on:

Tuesday, October 26th (7:00pm - 8:00pm) online via Zoom 

This will be a great chance to meet the current board and learn what the Coaches have in store for our swimmers.  We will be reviewing club expectations, club financials and all you need to know to make this a great swim year!  Please declare your attendance in advance.

The board meets monthly is made up of the following positions:

Chair - Required position.  This position leads the meetings, represents the club in an official capacity, and supports in any capacity needed.

Co-Chair -  Required position.  This position steps in when the chair is unavailable and supports the club in any capacity.

Registrar -  Required position.  This position maintains communications with SwimBC and registers swimmers coaches for insurance, reports on the club registration numbers, responds to questions, and supports the club in any capacity.

Treasurer -  Required position.  This position works with the accountant, reconciles the bank statements, initiates payments for swim meets, coach wages, and other expenses and reports on the financial situation monthly.  This position also supports the club in any capacity.

Secretary -  Required position. This position records minutes from the meetings, updates the websites, maintains the society information, and other communications.

Fundraising Director - Maintains the corporate sponsorship program, lead fundraising initiatives, submits and reports on gaming events, reports on fundraising efforts, and supports the club in any capacity.

Social Director - This position leads the social activities, organizes volunteers, and supports the club in any capacity.

Serving on the board fulfills the $200 volunteer commitment required by all families.

Participation in the AGM is vital to the success of our club and one representative from each swim family is required to attend to ensure we have sufficient numbers to support our annual BC Community Gaming Grant application and to ensure that decisions are reflective of the entire club.  Failing to attend will result in a $50 charge to the families accounts.
