4d. Withdrawal policy

Written notice to the Registrar is required 30 days prior to the end of the individual billing cycle (September 1-November 14, November 15-January 14, January 15-March 14 and March 15-end of regular season) to withdraw from the club.  Notice must be given in writing prior to the end of the current billing cycle.  Billing cycles are:

Billing Cycle 1(Due Sept 15): September 1-November 14
Billing Cycle 2 (Due Nov 15): November 15-January 14 (30 day Notice of Withdraw required by October 16)
Billing Cycle 3 (Due Jan 15): January 15-March 14 (30 day Notice of Withdraw required by December 16)
Billing Cycle 4 (Due Mar 15) : March 15-June/end of regular season (30 day Notice of withdraw required by February 16)

There are no refunds for partial billing periods.  Please note that notifying the coach of withdrawal does not constitute notice to the club registrar.

4bi. SNC/Swim BC Annual Fee (age determined as of December 31 each season)

Fees are outlined by SwimBC each year.  Please see the SwimBC website for more information.

4c. Volunteer policy
Each family will be required to provide a minimum of 5 credits of volunteering through the season.  Opportunities to sign up will be posted under the events tab on a regular basis. Outstanding commitments will be billed at the end of the season, prorated to reflect completed hours.

4c. Fundraising policy
LCSC holds a minimum of 2 mandatory fundraisers per season:

• Annual Swim Challenge $100/swimmer is billed to all accounts as part of session fees
• Annual Lottery $100/swimmer is billed to all accounts as part of session fees

4i. Transferring to Another Club
All financial obligations to LCSC must be settled before the Registrar is able to approve a transfer to another club.  This includes any outstanding fees or fundraising commitments.

• I agree that I am the parent or legal guardian of the above listed participant.
• I agree to pay all training and Swim BC membership fees as described for my child's swim program. I understand that swim meet, equipment and team uniform costs are in addition to these fees

*  I acknowledge that fees are payable regardless of how many scheduled workouts my swimmer is able to attend.  There are no make-up days offered. For medical absences of 2 weeks or more, a credit to the account can be requested with provision of a medical note to the Registrar or Head Coach.

• I acknowledge that my child's membership in LCSC will be expected to participate in the mandatory fundraising activities as set out by the LCSC Board of Directors.

• I acknowledge that membership application is not guaranteed and swimmers are not able to enter the water until FULL payment (Swim BC membership fee, monthly training fees,completed application, code of conduct, personal information consent and volunteer forms are received by the office manager.
