Welcome to Introduction to Speed Swimming with the Ladysmith Chemainus Orcas!
Swimmers will be learning the basic skills of speed swimming including entries, turns, and the four swim strokes (Butterfly, Backstroke, Breast Stroke, and Freestyle). The session is 6 weeks and swimmers will finish their session with a showcase event where they can experience racing in a safe and fun environment. On the first day of practice please arrive at Frank Jameson Community Center approximately 10 mins before your session, change into your bathing suit, and bring your goggles out on to the pool deck to meet your coaches. If you have any questions about the program please email email@example.com.
We will see you in the pool!
NOTE: Swimmers must be comfortable in the water on their own.
